With Olympic year fast approaching don't miss out on a fantastic opportunity to meet one of the greats Steve Backley, European and Commonwealth Champion, and World and Olympic Silver medallist.; Steve will take you through a whistle-stop tour of his career and then tell you about how your organisations can be a part of the 2012 Legacy.

Steve will also be presenting Proludic's new Sports Legacy Zone (SLZ) which combines play, sport and fitness through 7 different zones and 28 activities. SLZ promotes a healthy and more active lifestyle for all ages and abilities.  It encourages participation in a diverse range of activities, in either group or individual pursuits helping to bring communities together.

The half-day session is being held in association with Greater Manchester Sports Partnership and is a great opportunity to meet Steve and hear him talk about his passion for the Sports Legacy Zone and Virtual Coach programme which utilises smartphones.  We will also be hosting a number of presentations and workshops to help provide inspiration and ideas on how to connect and engage with communities and families to achieve local impact.
