The theme of the conference this year is Devolution.
Devolution is a live topic in Devon and across the South West Region as the Heart of the South West bid continues to make progress. Whether a deal with central government is agreed or not, the trend is towards town and parish councils taking on more assets and services, while principal councils and other organisations work more closely together to tackle wider strategic issues such as productivity, transport links, training provision and housing needs.
The conference aims to be informative – bringing you up to date with developments locally and nationally, and giving delegates the opportunity to work through practical issues.
