Andy’s Adventure in Bestwood Country Park is a memorial for Andrew Maycock who lost his life aged 16. Unfortunately, the old play area had become dilapidated and as a result, needed a complete make-over. Andy was a member of the Air cadets so Proludic wanted to pay respect to Andy by installing a wooden airplane unit and a special plaque that paid homage to him.
As the children’s play area is in a country park, the new equipment needed to be in keeping with the natural surroundings. Therefore, it was decided to use Proludic’s Origin’ range which is made from Robinia wood. The play area includes trim trails, a large Multiplay Unit and a mini cableway.
Since its completion the adventure playground has been used daily and we recive only positive feedback about how fabulous it is, how brilliant the new equipment is and how it’s a great improvement on the old playground. We would happily recommend Proludic to others as a company who, in our opinion, deliver a quality service & professionalism.
