Abbey Developments Ltd was building a development comprising of 93 dwellings. The local area properties are of traditional design, with no outstanding or consistent detail to give clues to inform the design. However, there are post-war styles and 80s and 90s housing styles in pockets of the local area.

The developer hired a Landscape Architect to design the play area for the new estate. The design rationale focused on a playful mixture of colour and nature that must be reflected. As you can see from the design, a tree comprising of colourful leaves was to be the main feature within the Wet Pour. Harmonising equipment was positioned around the boughs, made from both Robinia wood and colourful multi-play units.

The detailed design within the Wet Pour made this project tricky and challenging but was recreated beautifully by Proludic and their contractors. The play area sits perfectly within the development and is a bright and colourful play space for families to enjoy.

Oxlease Meadows is a development of executive family homes located in a highly desirable area of Hampshire, between Romsey and Winchester. Built to the highest level of specification Proludic has created a LEAP that enhances the area, sits harmoniously within the surrounding environment and creates a hub for the local community.

Proludic’s natural Origin range has been used to create a natural play area for a wide age range and enables families to enjoy and play together in a safe environment.
