In September 2017 Proludic was invited to provide a play area design for a community group on the southwest coast of Scotland. The Gatehouse Development Initiative managed to raise funds from more than twenty different organisations as well as through fund-raising events. This took almost four years to come to fruition, and Proludic was able to be involved at an early stage and work closely with the group to develop the final play area design in line with their vision.

The space at Riverbank Wynd was transformed into a vibrant, inclusive play area with a range of playground equipment (predominantly from the Robinia Origin’ Range) designed to engage and challenge up to 65 children at any one time of all ages and abilities in over 45 different play activities.

The park has been refurbished and partly funded in memory of my late father-in-law. It has been four-year labour of love that has involved a great deal of determination to raise such a large sum of money.
With the expertise and encouragement from Proludic, we have provided a fantastic adventurous and inclusive play park for children of all ages. We are extremely proud and happy that we have created the play park which is now open and living up to our expectations.
