The success of a play area is influenced by how it enhances and blends into the environment.

The local surroundings, the chosen products (comfort, safety and long service life) and the target market (age of the users, presence of accompanying adults and accessibility for the disabled) are just some of the factors that must be taken into account when designing a playground or sports area.

13 top tips for a successful playground
Vary the types of play functions (climbing, sliding, swinging, hiding, etc.).
Make sure that the equipment is assembled with care, and comply with the instructions in the installation guides.
Protect the playground from paths and roads.
Depending on the number of children using the playground, schedule inspections to check the state of the equipment and the surfaces, as well as the cleanliness of the play area.
Install an information board.
Include equipment for different age groups.
Use impact-attenuating surfacing beneath and around equipment that may involve the risk of falls.
Leave the necessary free areas for movement between each play unit (refer to the instructions).
Avoid putting thorny or toxic plants near the playground.
Include waste bins to reduce littering.
Include benches for adults. If possible, shelter them from the sun and draughts.
Avoid installing slides in a direction where the sliding metal surface is exposed to direct sunlight.
In case of damage, report the problem to our after-sales team, so that we can quickly carry out any repairs.
