East Dunbartonshire Council appointed Proludic to deliver a £470,000 space-themed play and sports destination for toddlers, children and young people. The inclusive design replaced the existing facilities with varied play, sensory, fitness and family activities, including accessible swings, a wheelchair-friendly seesaw, an inclusive roundabout and a 30-metre double cableway. Its centrepiece is the Metropolis multiplay unit with a stainless-steel corkscrew slide. Offering 296+ play values and capacity for 154+ users, the scheme also includes extensive drainage improvements. Selected through community consultation, the project received the highest public vote and was part-funded by the Scottish Government, creating lasting value for families.
