Well, 2022 turned out to be one of our busiest years yet for the team. We are delighted to have surpassed ourselves in this playful year. Our team installed a record number of play spaces, outdoor gyms and sports areas nationally.

As a result of this increased interest in our play equipment products and services, we expanded our team to keep pace with this demand. In Scotland, we further bolstered our sales team. Additionally, to further raise our profile north of the border we now advertise pitch side at Sterling County RFC (Rugby Football Club) to show our support locally.

June 6th marked a very special date in our history because on this day we celebrated our 20th anniversary as a top UK playground equipment supplier.

Since our formation, we have left a legacy of over 6,000 sports and children’s play areas to date, up and down the length and breadth of the country. The valued staff of team Proludic spent a weekend at our Group headquarters in Vouvray, France to celebrate this monumental milestone. Hot air ballooning and tasting the fantastic sparkling wine of the region was ‘high’ on the agenda!

To kick off the long hot summer we all experienced, we were in Bude for the opening of a colourful, bespoke play area installed at Wooda Farm Holiday Park that the happy campers took to instantly. We then further took advantage of the heatwave to enjoy a well-attended opening of the canal-themed playground park we produced in Barrow upon Soar. The children simply loved our take on a canal boat, which was a focal piece of play equipment for the site. We topped off these hazy days with a visit to Woodford Park in Woodley, where we delivered a truly inclusive play area for all ages and abilities. The local children loved it as you can appreciate from the film.

Innovation has always been a big part of what we do and this year we successfully launched 40 exciting new products onto the market.

April saw the launch of our exciting Ninja range of activity products. When combined the Ninja play equipment creates a thrilling and sociable obstacle course that promotes an active lifestyle for juniors and teenagers, up to 14 years. We saw our first site at Babington, Coventry open, which the community received very favourably. It was great to see so many out-of-breath children having fun with this activity! What we did not expect was that our Areas Managers would also enjoy being playful and being super active on the equipment as well!

May also saw the first unit from our new nature-inspired Ka’Yop range of play structures being installed for a Parish Council in the home counties. I think you will agree this picture is so quintessentially English with the multiplay unit blending in seamlessly with the church as a backdrop.

We continue to produce compelling films about our projects and equipment which can be found on our dedicated YouTube channel. It is great to showcase the creative and imaginative playground design of our work at completed sites. So, we can help you visualise a completed Proludic project. Such films are a real pleasure to make for you to enjoy and highlight the unique bespoke services we offer. These also highlight the creative installations we have completed throughout the UK.

Working with the many communities following the pandemic and seeing how grateful they are for the new spaces is a constant motivation for our team and has been the biggest highlight for us this year!

Here are some community pictures from play areas that we have opened in this playful year!

We wish all of you a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. We look forward to speaking with you in 2023 and sharing our fantastic new brochure with over 300 pages containing 30+ new products.
