Proludic was delighted to support Sulgrave Parish Council in upgrading Sulgrave Pocket Park, creating a natural and engaging play space for children of different ages and abilities. The project focused on delivering a varied and exciting play offer within a compact yet green rural community setting, making best use of the available space while introducing a strong farm-themed visual identity.

A key feature of the new play area is the large green multiplay tractor, which provides an eye-catching focal point and encourages imaginative, themed play. Alongside this, a wide range of multiplay equipment was installed to support different age groups and play styles, offering opportunities for climbing, balancing, sliding, role play and social interaction. This variety ensures that younger children and older users can enjoy the space together, helping to create a more inclusive and family-friendly environment.

Proludic went far beyond simply delivering a new park – they became a trusted partner, shaping our vision and bringing it to life. Throughout the process, they listened attentively, demonstrated flexibility, and responded to our needs. Their commitment and collaboration resulted in a space that welcomes and benefits children and people of all ages for years to come.

The scheme uses a mixed materials palette, combining natural robinia timber with durable HPL panels. This gives the play area a warm, natural feel while also providing long-lasting performance and visual interest. The combination of materials helps the equipment sit comfortably within the green park setting while offering the durability required for regular community use.

To celebrate the project’s completion, an opening event was held for the local community. Proludic supported the event with goody bags and arranged for a photographer to capture the special moments as families explored and enjoyed the new play space. The result is a welcoming, memorable and well-used pocket park that brings lasting value to Sulgrave Parish.
