Proludic works to promote people’s well-being through outdoor activities — starting from childhood in playgrounds and continuing into adolescence and adulthood on sports areas.
Our philosophy places the users of our play and sports equipment, as well as the environment in which these facilities are integrated, at the heart of our actions. It is therefore only natural that environmental protection has been part of our company’s foundations since the very beginning.
For over 20 years, numerous milestones have illustrated our commitment to sustainable development: the establishment of a QSE (Quality, Safety and Environment) department in 2000, ISO 14001 certification in 2006, PEFC certification in 2015, and more recently, the adoption of an environmental policy in 2023.
Today, we are strengthening this commitment by publishing our EMAS Environmental Statement, which is fully aligned with the company’s overall policy and applies to our Vouvray sites.
What is EMAS?
EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) is a voluntary European regulation that enables all types of organisations to assess, publish, and improve their environmental performance. The EMAS regulation is based on the ISO 14001 standard, with additional requirements.
It places particular emphasis on credibility, through verification of regulatory compliance, and on transparency, through openness to the public and all stakeholders.
The environmental responsibility approach promoted by this regulation is based on:
- The identification and management of significant environmental impacts,
- The adoption of a continuous improvement process,
- Communication initiatives, including the environmental declaration.
