Street Workout is an urban sport, a cross between weightlifting and gymnastics. It involves a series of exercises calling for strength, flexibility and balance.
Exercises are performed using bodyweight only on several sets of bars installed at different heights. This equipment can be used for pull-ups, dips, push-ups and squats to build muscle strength, endurance and flexibility.
The different types of gym apparatus meet the recommendations issued by the street workout federations, depending on the type of use, such as pulling and pushing exercises, or for use by individuals with reduced mobility.
This range can be combined with Proludic’s multi-use games areas and Urbanix stations. It is designed to maximise the uptake of physical activity among a mixed, multi-generational and inclusive target group with varying levels of physical ability.
